Description: The Drill Hole database is a digital catalogue of over 17,000 drill hole records available from the departments exploration assessment reports and Drill Core library. Most of these records are the product of drilling programs conducted by mineral exploration companies in the province. The attribute information is taken from the assessment reports submitted to the Department by the mineral exploration companies that conducted the drilling. The attribute data includes information on the location, company, year of drilling, a link to the assessment report (Geofile), elevation, dip, azimuth, total depth, overburden depth, and first rock type encountered.
